Death Valley Star Party - November 6-7, 2026
Join us for stargazing under the dark skies of the largest International Dark Sky Site in the United States. This event will be held in conjuction with Xanterra (The Oasis) and the National Park Service.
Due to construction within the park, our normal Sunset Overflow Area telescope field is not available. Xanterra, which operates The Oasis, The Inn and The Ranch at Death Valley has graciously allowed us to use their Fiddler's Campground as our telescope field this time. Astronomer's will be able to camp (for free) at their telescope site, but you are welcome to stay elsewhere. Be sure to check out the diagram at the bottom of this page.
Whether you are an astronomer (bringing a scope to share with the public) or a member of the public, please register using the link below. This gives us an email address for updates on weather and any other concerns about the event.
