Membership (New and Renewal)

LVAS uses the membership management application "Embolt" to handle the organizational infrastructure for the club. By clicking the button below, a new window will open in your browser with the Embolt LVAS member hub. There will be some information about the society, and a button to register as a new member.

The member registration page will present a registration form with the following fields:

o First and Last name (required)

o Contact Email (required)
This is used to communicate LVAS information as needed. It is also used by Embolt as your user ID.

o Membership Tier (Select the status that applies to your membership.)

o Address, City, State, Zip (optional)

o Are you an EOP volunteer?
This checkbox indicates you would like to receive notification of Education Outreach Program (EOP) events, where you can volunteer to bring astronomy to students, scouts, and other community organizations. A telescope is not required. Checking this box does not obligate you to attend any events.

Fill out the form, then press the "Continue to Payment" button to activate the payment options. Select one to complete the registration. For Renewals, Embolt uses your email address to see that you are an existing member and processes accordingly.
